Education

West End Neighborhood House offers FREE educational opportunities for participants 16 years of age and older. Our free education program helps individuals achieve their academic and career goals.

Our Educational Program provides a unique individualized approach by providing customers with the following opportunities:
• Basic Reading and Math Skills Instruction
• GED Preparation and Testing
• Individual and Small Group Tutorial Sessions
• Case Management Services, Transportation and Testing Fee Assistance
• Post-Secondary Education, Military and Advanced Training Transitional Assistance

Job Preparedness and Customer Service Workshops are offered Mondays and Wednesdays. Classes operate on weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and orientations are conducted monthly.

The Education schedule includes both Academics and Job Preparedness/Credential Training. Academic classes are held from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and Job Preparedness/Credential Training classes are from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
